Schlessman® Hybrid Popcorn
Schlessman Seed Company is an industry leader in the production of hybrid popcorn seed. Our hybrids are sold to commercial popcorn processors in the United States and abroad. The hybrid popcorn varieties listed here have been released from our own research program and are available for commercial production and/or testing purposes.
Schlessman Breeding Research and Development Program specializes in hybrid popcorn varieties that are characteristically high yielding and have high expansion. Overall taste and tenderness are also of great importance in our company's Program.
Schlessman® popcorn hybrids are vigourously inspected and certified through the growing seasons. This process further allows for OECD certification of our hybrids to all OECD countries. Please see below for more information on all our varieties, including their OECD certified status.
